We Believe that Each Child Should Have a Voice

Growing Little Voices Speech Therapy is a private practice located in Knoxville, TN, serving children from birth to 17 years old. We  provide in-person pediatric speech-language evaluations and therapy, for children with developmental diagnoses, Autism, speech sound disorders (articulation, phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech), receptive and expressive language delays, and communication/social language differences. We use a play-based therapy approach and we are neurodiversity affirming. We build upon your child’s strengths and the further development of their communication skills.

Ginny Hurst, Owner Growing Little Voices Speech Therapy

Hello! I am Virginia Hurst, M.A., CCC/SLP… most people know me as Ginny Hurst!

I am a wife and a mom of 3... and the owner of Growing Little Voices Speech Therapy, LLC! I have 25+ years experience as a pediatric SLP. I completed my Masters in speech-language pathology at The University of Tennessee-Knoxville (Go VOLS!), and my Bachelor of Science in Education for communication disorders at Western Carolina University (Go Catamounts!).  I am licensed with the state of Tennessee. I have lived and worked in Knoxville and the surrounding area since 1997. Most of my career has focused on working with children within the early intervention system as well as the school setting.  I am truly passionate about helping children increase their communication skills and helping them find their “voice”!
